This book is great. If you want to do some of your own work then you really need this. Gives you simple but very detailed directions.

I bought this shortly after purchasing a used 2001 Vulcan 1500 Fi to diagnose a tapping sound coming from the rocker head, I am glad I did buy this guide. I did not know how complicated a vtwin could be until I dove into this book. The instructions were clear and concise. That made it easy to make repairs to my motor without the expense and headache of a shop to do the work. I am a hands on kind of guy and have rebuilt many automobile engines and small engines, this was my first tackle of a motorcycle engine and the book made it easy to know what to do from replacing the lifters to replacing the drive line bearings. Hubby had been trying to find one of these repair manuals for his 2004 Vulcan…..all he had to do was ask and I would find it for him. LOL!!! Very good manual, helpful hints and step by step directions. Highly recommend this product.

I purchased my VN1500-N4 used with no owner’s / users’ manual … which costs $65.00. I recently purchased the Clymers Manual and have found it to be concise, clear, well organized and filled with a wealth of valuable information. I have no fear that my bike is not being properly maintained now.
