1998 Honda VT 750 C Shadow Ace Charging Stator

  • The Charging Stator is held in a fixed position on the motor (typically under a cover on the left side of the bike), while the Charging Rotor (Flywheel) rotates around it. The permanent magnets in the flywheel induce AC current in the Stator, which is convered to DC by the Regulator Rectifier to charge the battery. Most Stators have 3 yellow wires. When changing your Stator, take care to properly route the wire in the cover to avoid damage from the rotating Flywheel.
  • All used Stators are thoroughly tested before they are placed in inventory. The windings and wires will be undamaged, the plug will be undamaged and the electrical connections will be clean.
