    This kickstand sucks.

Pay a little more and get a better kick stand.

I had to have it near fully extended, and for that reason, the extender bar fell off the bike, and now it’s lost and useless. I feel it was more of the kickstand being cheap, than me not tightening it strong enough.

Buy this in a store so you can see the quality.

I have a Mongoose Tech 4 26″ Men’s Full Suspension Mountain Bike that I purchased this kickstand for and it is not even close to adjusting to the correct length. Even though the description of this kickstand says it fits 20-28″ bikes. I also question the quality of the kickstand. The feel is very cheep and flimsy. But as the saying goes “You get what you pay for” and that is certainly true with this product.

Does the job it was designed for…as long as you don’t mind it spot-matting inside two weeks. Tried all kinds of cleaning agents on it, they’ll clean it some but you get the same camouflage-like matting pattern in a matter of days.

In short, very poor finish. Currently looking to replace it for a quality product.

Im an adult, this was purchased for an adult bike. Lasted 1 week! The bike fell over and the kickstand broke in half. (the part that holds it on the bike, not the stand itself. It looks like its made of plastic and not steel. The stand part is made of hollow, thin metal, similar to a hollow tent pole, when I was removing the broken stand bracket, I also noticed the stand itself was bent, after 1 WEEK??? come on. I dont like to post negative reviews, but this was a total joke and the quality of this stand just made me really mad. Dont buy this, its cheap for a reason.

Simple to install and simple to adjust, it doesn’t get much simpler than this. It comes with an adapter to allow it to be clamped across the two chain stays or it can be bolted directly to your bike if it is equipped with the mounting plate. It installs with a 3/8s hex wrench which is larger than I have in any of my bike tools, and I had to search for a wrench. I docked it one star for not using a common size (for a bike) hex head.
