The Charging Rotor or Flywheel is bolted to the end of the engine crankshaft, typically located under the Left Side engine cover. The Rotor is lined with a series of permanent magnets. As it rotates on the end of the crank, it induces a current in the Stator, which in turn charges the battery.
A used Charging Rotor is guaranteed to be perfectly round and undamaged, with all permanent magnets in place.

The Ignition Pickups measure the rotation of the Crankshaft and send a signal to the Coils to fire the spark plugs. This pulse may be generated by the opening of points on older motors or by electro-magnetic action on newer bikes, but the purpose is the same.
All used Ignition Pickups are thoroughly tested before they are placed in inventory. Electrical connections and plug(s) will be clean and undamaged.

The Engine Crankshaft converts the up and down motion of the Pistons into rotational motion. The Crank is mounted in the Engine Cases where it turns on bearings.
A used Crankshaft is sold bare with no connecting rods. Crank will be straight and true, with good journals. Used Crankshaft meets manufacturer specifications for allowable wear.
