1980 Kawasaki KZ 440 A Ltd Electrical Charging Rotor Flywheel

  • The Charging Rotor or Flywheel is bolted to the end of the engine crankshaft, typically located under the Left Side engine cover. The Rotor is lined with a series of permanent magnets. As it rotates on the end of the crank, it induces a current in the Stator, which in turn charges the battery.
  • A used Charging Rotor is guaranteed to be perfectly round and undamaged, with all permanent magnets in place.
